We keep our groups between 10-12 students per teacher. This allows us to povide each child with the best instruction possible and with the personal attention they need to truly thrive. 

We offer open enrollment throughout the year. As long as there is space in a class, we welcome you to join us! We also offer a wait list when space fills up.

We are currently full for the 2025/2026 school year, but please feel free to fill out a contact form and we will add you to the wait list. Sometimes spots open up mid year. 

There is much research supporting the benefits of education in a mixed age group setting. We fully utilize small group instruction, peer mentoring, and self-directed learning to ensure that all students are meeting their personlized educational goals. 

We work with children ages 6 to 11. There are some exceptions depending on family circumstances. 

A huge part of what makes us unique is the supplemental activities your child will have access to. Apart from a highly customized education in the core subjects, your child will engage in real-world collaborative projects, community outreach activities, science experiments, civics and history, mentoring, Montessori learning, art, music, cooking, gardening, nature activites, STEM, entreprenuership, field trips, and so much more!

We offer three different programs:

4 day program:

Monday-Thursday, 9am-3pm

$8500 per year

3 day program:

Choose any 3 days between Monday and Thursday, 9am-3pm

$6500 per year

2 day program:

Choose either Monday/Wednesday classes, or Tuesday/Thursday classes.

$4500 per year

Our yearly tuition fees are all inclusive and include field trips, lunches, snacks, and supplies.

All students will have full access to an incredible suite of online learning programs through Prenda. That means, your child can maintain their learning at home, while still having social and collaborative time at school. Win-win!

Because we are powered by Prenda, we accept funds from the Utah Fits All and Open Ed Scholarships. 

Rising Phoenix Microschool is powered by Prenda. This means we primarily use Prenda's online learning platform. However, to supplement online learning, we use Wonders Reading, Treasure Hunt Reading, Blossom and Root, Wild Math, and Illustrative Math. We have access to a wide variety of curricula to ensure that your child is learning to mastery. We also welcome any curricula that you have loved for your family.

We create individualized learning plans for each student based on their strengths, interests, and goals. Through the Prenda online platform, students can set their own learning goals and track progress in real time. Parents, teachers, and students will have access to this information and know how students are doing at any time throughout the year.

We accept students from all backgrounds and walks of life. However, our curriculum is 100% secular to allow parents the freedom to teach their children in their own way at home.
